What is included in the cost of my trip?

Your cruise includes Celebrity’s premium shipboard accommodations; access to exclusive, DC Chefs’ Cruise onboard activities and events; access to the fitness center; uniquely-Celebrity evening entertainment; a classic beverage package (beer, wine, liquor, coffee, bottle waters, juices, etc.); complimentary room service and all meals outside of specialty dining. (Don’t worry, we took you out of the DMV and planned everything ahead. We just require you to indulge in relaxation!)

Are there upgrades available?

We’ve also included a few, special upgrades to your DC Chefs’ Cruise! We have taken the liberty of offering you the ultimate experience in gastronomy and relaxation: Included in your total cost is an exclusive, Private Playa Mia BBQ shore excursion with Nycci and our guest chefs! And, we’ve upgraded you to a PREMIUM beverage package and purchased you 4 dinners at any one of our Specialty Dining Restaurants.

What is not included in the cost of my trip?

Let us plan the perfect vacation for you! Prepaid gratuities, air transportation and transfers to and from the port are not included, but can be booked directly through Celebrity Cruises for an additional, but small cost. Any goods onboard at our premium retail boutiques or Canyon Ranch Spa and salon services can be purchased on board.

What is an Experience Fee?

Each guest is required to pay a $70 experience fee added onto their cruise fare in order to have access to all group exclusive onboard activities, meals, and events with the DC Chefs.

Can I purchase cruise line airfare as part of my package?

Absolutely! You can purchase airline tickets at the best prices, on virtually any airline through Celebrity Cruises Choice Air website, or by calling 1-800-533-7803. Once booked, you’ll know your itinerary in advance, your carrier and seat assignments, and that your flights fit perfectly with your cruise vacation.

Can I purchase cruise line transfers from the airport to the ship?

You certainly can! Transfers make life just a little easier and are available for purchase from the arrival airport to the pier on day of sailing, and from the pier to the departure airport on debarkation day only. The cost of transfers to/from the Ft. Lauderdale airport is only $16.75 per person, each way ($33.50 per person round-trip); to/from the Miami airport is only $30.00 per person, each way ($60.00 per person round-trip). You will just need to provide your flight information at the time of purchase, so make sure to book your flights first.

How can I purchase trip protection?

We offer CruiseCare Travel Insurance to cover you in case of cancellation, luggage delays, medical expenses and more. We highly recommend including trip protection when you book your cabin. However you can add it any time up until final payment.

What is the payment schedule?

In order to confirm your cabin, a deposit of $250.00 dollars per person is due at the time of registration. Final payment for those accommodations will be due by November 15th, 2016 (75 days prior to sail date).

How do I make changes to my existing reservation?

What documents do I need in order to sail?

You’ll need to provide two things when you check in at the pier:
1. Valid Passport (no photocopies)
2. Celebrity “Xpress Pass” (obtained via online check-in)

When will I receive my travel documents & boarding passes?

Everything is mobile. Celebrity utilizes Electronic Documents (“Xpress Passes”) that you can obtain from their website once your cruise is paid in full. You will love this, and likely find it super easy to use. If not, call us directly and we can help! First try this: Log on to http://www.celebritycruises.com, click “Before Your Cruise”, then “Online Check-In.” You’ll need your Celebrity Cruises reservation #, departure date and ship name to access your reservation. Once logged in:

  1. Complete Celebrity’s Personal and Travel Information Forms
  2. Confirm your Cruise Ticket Contract
  3. Set up your Onboard Expense Account

Print your Electronic Documents (“Xpress Passes”) You’ll want to make sure to complete the online check-in process no later than 3 days prior to sailing.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancelation dates and deadlines:

  • Before October 31, 2016 (90+ days to departure) – No charges
  • Before November 1,2016 (89 to 57 days to departure) – Deposit amount
  • Before December 4, 2016 (56 to 29 days to departure) – 50% of total price per person
  • Before January 1, 2017 (28 to 15 days to departure) – 75% of total price per person
  • Before January 15, 2017 (14 to 0 days to departure) – No Refund except for taxes/fees

Will I get to meet the Chefs?

Yes! Plenty of opportunities will present themselves during the course of the cruise.

Will I be able to get autographs from the Chefs?

Yes! Mike, Marjorie, Derek & David love spending time with their friends and fellow patrons. So does Nycci! That’s why they are here!

Cruising FAQs

What time should I arrive at the pier?

You should be at the pier at least 90 minutes prior to sailing. You don’t want to miss the kick-off, so getting there 2 hours prior is even better!

Is there internet on board?

Yes! You can stay in touch by using hot spots throughout the ship or by going to the internet café. Internet packages are available for purchase (don’t worry, we won’t tell your boss). Post all your favorite photos and videos from the cruise on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!

Can the ship accommodate special dietary needs?

Of course! From low-sodium to kosher, gluten free everything in between; your dietary needs can be met. Just let us know what you need in advance and we will take care of the rest.

What types of stateroom accessibility options are available?

Wheel chairs are available on request. Special mobility needs? Staterooms designed to accommodate you are based on availability. We can assist you in customizing your arrangements to best suit your needs.

How do I make Specialty Dining reservations?

If you haven’t tried it, you should! Specialty dining reservations for Specialty Dining Restaurants can be made on-line up to 4 days before your sail date. Reservations are required to dine in one of these awesome venues. If your sail date is less than 4 days away, you will need to make your reservations once you are onboard. Advanced reservations are limited to parties of six persons or less, and tables can’t be combined to increase your party size.

The minimum age to dine in one of the specialty restaurants is 12 years old with the exception of Silk Harvest Restaurant and Tuscan Grille, where children of all ages are welcome!

Why can’t I dine at the Specialty Restaurant – Blu?

Blu is a restaurant reserved exclusively for guests staying in the Aqua Class stateroom category.

Why can’t I dine at the Specialty Restaurant – Luminae?

Luminae is a restaurant reserved exclusively for guests any level of the Suite Class stateroom category.

How do I book shore excursions?

The fun starts with the planning! Once your cruise is paid in full, you can start making plans for any special tour you might want to take while in port. Shore excursions are available for advanced booking up to four days prior to sailing, and can be purchased once you have your booking number to access your online registration. If the sail date is within four days, reservations can only be made onboard the ship on a first-come, first-serve basis.

What is the appropriate cruise attire?

Say goodbye to formal night, and hello to “evening chic”. It’s your time to shine—your way. Get glamorous. Get chic. Be sophisticated. Now two nights on every cruise evening chic activities have been introduced and evening chic attire has replaced formal attire. While dressier than smart casual, evening chic is intended to be less dressy than formal attire.

Women should feel comfortable wearing:

  • A cocktail dress
  • Skirt, pants or designer jeans with an elegant top

Men should feel comfortable wearing:

  • Pants or designer jeans with a dress shirt, button-down shirt or sweater
  • Optional sport coat or blazer

Smart Casual Attire

Smart Casual attire can be enjoyed every other night of your cruise.

Women should feel comfortable wearing:

  • Skirt, pants or jeans with a casual top

Men should feel comfortable wearing:

  • Pants or jeans with a sport shirt that has sleeves

Note: T-shirts, swimsuits, robes, bare feet, tank tops, baseball caps and pool wear are not allowed in the main restaurant or specialty restaurant at any time. Shorts and flip-flops are not allowed in the evening hours. The dress code will be enforced at all restaurants. And guests are asked to follow the smart casual or evening chic dress code in the Celebrity Theater for all evening performances. The daily program, delivered to your stateroom and available at the Guest Relations Desk, will be your guide to the correct attire each evening.

We do offer laundry and dry cleaning services on board in your nice shirts get wrinkled on the way in.
